How long have you been in business?
We have been in business 60 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary product is industrial coatings. We are geared toward the metals products but have some wood coatings. We are a leader in waterborne baking enamels.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Elpaco was started as Elkhart Paint Company and has had 3 owners in its lifetime.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We proudly commit to service as our #1 feature. Our customers come first whether it be new product lines or problems at their facility. We have extensive relationships with vendors related to all facets of painting.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location in Elkhart and a sister company in St. Louis Missouri.

Directions to our facility from the Indiana Toll Road are exit at exit 92, turn south on SR 19. Follow SR 19 to Old 33 or Franklin St. Turn right(west) and we are on the right about 1 mile.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check, company check, direct deposits, and, with credit check, can extend terms.
Which areas do you service?
We predominately service the boat and container industries.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Mr. Mike Reed is our Vice-President, General Manager.
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours of operation are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for the office and our dock/plant operates from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
