How long have you been in business?
New Hope was founded in 1988 by Pastor Joseph Baunoch. Mike Saddler was the pastor following Joseph and the present pastor is Lee Campbell.
What is your primary product or service?
New Hope's mission is to bring transformation to people at the crossroads through the love and ministry of Jesus Christ.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our congregation desires for every attender to feel welcomed and wanted. We reach out into the community by serving people in need. We offer contemporary worship services with practical messages to address everyday needs. We provide many opportunities for support, encouragement and growth through small group interactions. New Hope is a great place to be!
Provide detailed directions to your location
New Hope is located at the corners of County Road 4 and County Road 5 (Elkhart/Edwardsburg Road). From the east: Take County Road 6 west until you get to the traffic light at the middle of the Elkhart Airport. Turn north or right and you will arrive at the church after going through the first stop sign. From the west: Take Cleveland Road out of South Bend which turns into County Road 6 until you get half way past the airport. At the light turn left and go to the first stop sign. You will see the church on your right.
Which areas do you service?
In addition to our regular worship and small group schedules, we have a monthly celebration for people with disabilities at 6:30pm on the fourth Tuesday night of each month called Jireh (God Provides). We also have the Elizabeth Abel Food Pantry that operates every Friday from 9am until 1pm.
What are your hours of operation?
Our Celebration Services are 9:00am and 10:30am. We have community groups that meet at 9:00am; 10:30am. Kid's Stuff and the Nursery meet during both services and on Wednesday nights at 6:15pm. Youth meet Sunday night at 6:00pm and Wednesday nights at 6:15pm. During the school year supper is served at 5:30pm for $4 per person or $12 per family. Small Groups meet throughout the week.
