How long have you been in business?
We started The Art of Design in 1990, based out of my basement. In 1997 we purchased the building we are currently in.
What is your primary product or service?
Art on any canvas. A lot of what we do is custom paint on large projects, or very detailed or exquisite projects. A lot of our customers have been looking for someone to do something entirely unique and to the nth degree.

How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The Art of Design shines as the leader of the finest finishes on any canvas. There isn't much that won't fit in our 15,000 sq/ft facility and we ensure each one leaves with deepest, glossiest shine possible.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have the paint shop, TAOD, in Elkhart and Dean's Place in Mishawaka next to Ruth's Chris.
Provide detailed directions to your location
TAOD is located off of CR 17 in the Beck Industrial Park. Head W on Beck Dr. Beck curves and turns into Roske. Turn right onto Wyland and another right onto Rush Ct. We're straight ahead at the end of the road.

We are open 8-5 M-F.
